St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fund-raising organization.

The Historic Wilmington Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses its efforts towards preserving the architectural heritage of the Lower Cape Fear region. Since its formation in 1966, the Historic Wilmington Foundation has successfully saved over 100 historic properties from demolition. Our mission is to continue promoting historic preservation in the community through educational programs, exhibits, community involvement and revolving fund activities.





New Hanover County Public Library - Processed Slides

In celebration of the library's 100th anniversary the library staff wanted to be able to use slides taken from 1956 to 1993 in presentation materials and Jiffy Slides donated the scanning of slides so this could be done for the library in an efficient and timely manner.
