Radio Gets Results . . .

Jiffy Slides attributes a large portion of its success to the advertising we have done on WAAV radio. Many of our clients remember the Golden Age of Radio and appreciate the fact that we sponsor the shows that bring them news, information, and entertainment. Each month we have 100 sixty second spots that air on WAAV A.M. 980 during different times of the day and night.

Each morning at 5:30 Wilmington residents can start to tune in to Marty Shirah, the voice behind "Talk of the Town". Talk of the Town is a Wilmington tradition that was started by Donn Ansel and continues with Marty. Marty brings the early risers important area news and information. Of any local radio talent, surely, "Talk of the Town" is most trusted amoung local listeners as the has continued strong on WAAV for over 25 years. Jiffy Slides is proud to be able to sponsor his show with Live ads and is even more proud to have Donn Ansell as our show host for our Infotainment hours.

But were not done yet . . .

After Talk of the Town WAAV continues on with another trusted radio voice, Rhonda Bellamy. Rhonda's show On the Waveline with Rhonda Bellamy brings even more news and comment on matters that concern those in and around Wilmington. We are proud to have our commercials air during her show as many local residents love to call in and discuss a topic with or challenge Rhonda on a topic.

But wait, there's more . . .

In the evening Harvard Jennings continues on with more local news and commentary. Since Harvard's show is later in the afternoon he has more time to gather the news from the day and discusses the day's events, instead of waiting for the next day. Harvard has a very loyal audience and a regular caller base who love to challenge him and also love to inspire him. We are proud to be able to sponsor his show with Live ads.

There's Still More . . .

WAAV carries several nationaly syndicated shows. Rush Limbaugh, the man credited for saving AM radio is on mid days bringing news, information, and unique humor. Like him or not his shows can be quite entertaining and informing. Sean Hannity and Michael Savage round off the evening on WAAV. Late at night, ~~Ghost to Ghost~~ Coast to Coast presents shows that can only be described as unique. Coast to Coast has been a staple for many night owls, truck drivers, insomniacs, and others who have to be awake at night. Jiffy Slides is proud to be able to sponsor these programs (even if we don't agree with their opinions) as the talk show hosts work long and hard to be able to present shows that inform and entertain. Jiffy Slides admires the American work ethic found in these show hosts and support staffs.

Radio is important for not only informing us of local events but it is also important since it introduces us to local businesses and new services being offered. Through sixy second commercials and one hour Infotainment specials we use WAAV to introduce Jiffy Slides to many potential new clients. Jiffy Slides is proud to be able to use the power of radio.
